Nothing new to see here....I still haven't washed or blocked or woven in ends on my Freeport Vest but I think I'll get to that sometime this week (after I get presents wrapped and off the spare bed). We shall see...

Works-in-Progress (WIPs)
1. Baby Surprise Jacket: started May 27, 2013
2. Traveling Vines Socks (Adult): started May 31, 2013
3. Dragon's Egg Socks: started September 2, 2013

4. Zombie ViXen Fingerless Mitts: started November 23, 2013

I haven't started anything new, though I'm still debating whether I should. I worked a couple rows on my Baby Surprised Jacket. I'm done with the "Center 90" stitches and am now just working to the end. It's kind of mindless knitting but I do need to pay attention to my increases. I've also (mostly) finished the first of my Zombie ViXen Fingerless Mitts. I still have to do the thumb but I bound off yesterday afternoon and started the second one. I expect I'll have plenty of yarn leftover for....something. Baby socks, perhaps. Or hexipuffs (not that I've made any). Or something else. I'm almost done with the fourth pattern repeat on my Traveling Vines Socks, too...but I was almost done last week and I've only knit a couple rounds here and there. Oops...

And here are the lists of things I (probably) won't get to...

Children's Items
1. "Little 16" Newborn Socks
2. Alvin Sweater
3. Milo

 Household Items
1. Halloween Creepy Cloths (2)
2. Assorted Harry Potter Cloths
3. Assorted Doctor Who Cloths

Designs (which may or may not be soooper seeekrit)
1. Little Man's Baby Blanket
2. Susan's Hat (4 versions) (yes, I've mostly sussed out one version but it's still on this list)
3. Assorted dishcloths (set of 12?)
4. Traveling Vines Scarf
5. Traveling Vines Socks (baby and adult-sized as well) - yes, this is a WIP...still working on it...
6. Pinwheel Market Bag
7. Anything else that comes along (I have a notebook or two or seventeen somewhere with potential designs and random ideas)

In "real life" news...well, packages keep arriving addressed to Little Man. It's quite apparent that we're not from around here. I think there are five boxes in our spare room that have presents for Little Man contained within. I have to wrap a few of them but, you know, could be worse. I haven't done my Christmas cards. I had intentions of doing them yesterday but we went visiting friends instead. So, that just didn't happen (but it allowed me to finish the first Zombie ViXen and start the second one...). However, I also wrapped presents to ship off to Wisconsin and Washington DC (not that I've sent them yet), Little Man got his Christmas photos done, I took my dress in for alterations, and I bought a pair of dress shoes.

Oh, and we're still fighting the lingering colds but that's going away.

Oh, and our oranges and lemons froze this past week so we've probably lost most of them. The oranges are okay to eat...they're a bit sour, however. Making juice, though...that's just a bad idea.

Anyway.....have some recent photos :)

I wearin' my punkin hat!

Painting pictures!

Sleepy boy :)

Hope you've all had a lovely week :)

  3. Would it be awful to do eCards? Our post has just announced a huge jump in the cost of stamps and suspension of home delivery, so eCards are looking really attractive to me right now.

Little man is so cute when he mugs for the camera :)
