Y3: Self-Imposed Year of Projects - Update #10

First and foremost: my laptop is back in fabulous working order. Husband replaced the hard drive (with a solid-state hard drive) and added more RAM, then told it to restore from the backup. It's much more fabulous now :) Well, it does what I want it to, anyway...

Secondly, it's Sunday and that means it's time for another installment of my Self-Imposed Year of Projects.

9. Babbeh Hat: started March 3, 2014; finished March 6, 2014

Since last weekend, I've finished two projects. Oh, and I blogged about another one. I've finished up my first prototype of my Traveling Vines Socks...I think I'm going to self-publish this one but I haven't quite decided yet. I suppose I need to finish the other two sizes first, though. Anyway, I also started and finished a hat. I think it's for Little Man but he doesn't seem too keen on wearing it...little booger. Hopefully he'll change his mind about it.

 Works-In-Progress (WIPs)

1. Dragon's Egg Socks: started September 2, 2013
2. Oreo Socks: started March 8, 2014

Yeah, I'm down to two WIPs again. And they're both socks. I started a pair of vanilla socks using some Trekking XXL in Mint Oreo...hence, Oreo Socks. I think I still have plans for another project but I cannot decide which one. I've had someone suggest that I should start a shawl...and I probably will as soon as I find the yarn I plan to use. I think I've even decided that. I'm kind of proud of myself...

Now that my laptop is fixed, I should be getting around to my Stitches West haul type post and maybe a few other random things. Also, I don't know that I ever showed photos from our cruise over New Years. Or maybe I did.....I still need to get some of the photos from Husband in order to do that, however. Oh well.

Anyway, I hope you've all had a lovely weekend and such :)

    1. I hate having so few WIPs...I feel so naked. Also, both of them are on tiny needles and that drives me nuts! I need some bigger needles for more instant gratification :)

  3. Welcome back!

I would love to test the travelling vines socks for you if you are going to make it an official pattern!

Also, don't you hate it when our goal to make cute sensible hates for our kids back fires and they don't even want to wear them!?!
