Yes, yes, I'm very aware that it's Monday. We've had a busy couple of days and I just did not get around to posting. So, it is what it is and you're going to have to just handle yourself about it because that's what I'm doing. [insert LOLmoji]

It's likely that my last FO for this year will be the Sockhead....and that's a big, fat maybe. I'm sure I'll make progress on the Herbivore shawl once I finish the Sockhead and it's possible I'll start a new project while we're driving across the country. But, that hasn't happened yet so we'll see.

This past week, I spent some time working on the Sockhead while Husband and I watched Hawkeye. That was it. I've been busy doing other things. Woo.

We are on the final countdown to moving. Eleven days. The moving truck is coming sometime next week (don't know the exact day yet) so we're whittling down the things that are getting packed. Puppy is getting picked up sometime between now and then (again, don't know the exact date yet). We did a "dry pack" of my car today to figure out what is and isn't going to fit and how to orient everything in there. I'm really hoping that we don't have to put the hitch on the back of the car with things on it. I don't think we will but we'll see what Husband says about that. I'm really hoping to avoid it entirely. Then again, it might be helpful. I don't know.

In other random events, we had people over on Saturday for BBQ. In this case, it was Husband's friends and former coworkers (the few that he likes and plans to stay in touch with). So we made BBQ, one of his friends made ice cream, and there was merry-making. Yesterday, I took the boys to the park for like five hours for a massive "come say farewell" playdate for the boys. We had a pretty good turnout. We knew not everyone was going to be able to make it but a bunch of their friends did come out and it was great.

My event is on Friday so we'll see how that goes. I'm not even sure where it's going to be yet. I should look into that....I was planning to just have it here but I don't think that's happening. I'm not even planning it. I'm just showing up apparently.

So that's kind of where things are right now.

The boys had their second vaccinations this past week. I took them to Fremont on Wednesday. We had an appointment and the line was out the door anyway. It was a bit of a wait to get in but once we were in, all was well.

Little Man also lost his first molar this past week. He was very proud of himself. He's been complaining about that tooth hurting for months and then it got wiggly and then it just came right out. So, the Tooth Fairy came and he was excited.

That's seriously about all that's happening around here. I hope you had a lovely week and weekend!
