For full disclosure of my acquisitions for this year, I'm doing stash enhancement posts as yarn arrives (or as I remember to post or after a week or so for clubs...). So, I fell into my LYS yesterday morning and, surprise, I came home with something......
Okay, I came home with four somethings.......
The green on the bottom is, obviously, Cascade Heritage Wave. The blue is Malabrigo Rios. The brown one and the white one are both HiKoo Sueño.
So, let's have some information....
Yarn: Cascade Heritage Wave
Weight/Yds: Sock/fingering weight; 437 yds
Color: Forest
I imagine these will grow up to be socks but I may go with another option. We'll see what happens when I get that far.
Yarn: Malabrigo Rios
Weight/Yds: worsted; 210 yds.
Color: Azul Profundo
This yarn was bought specifically to make a hat for Stormageddon, because he's quite in need (he's been borrowing Little Man's hats, which is fine...but he should have one of his own). I had it wound to make me cast on sooner. We'll see how that works.
Yarn: HiKoo by skacel Sueño
Weight/Yds: DK; 255 yds
Color(s): 1100 Natural (white) and 1105 Dust Bunny (brown)
These are totally selfish purchases. I plan to make something for mememe.....probably a hat and mitten/fingerless mitt set, stripes because duh.....and wound so I cast on sooner.
Oops....except not really oops because I'm not cold sheeping at all. I'm just trying to get a handle on what I have and use it.
