Apparently I've rediscovered my knitting mojo because I've, you know, finished things...and started things...and finished other things. Woo.
But today, let's talk about a recent FO:
Stormageddon's Stripey Babbeh Hat |
Pattern: None. I did use the number of rows and decrease method from the Hoo Hat but that was only to get the sizing correct.
Time Frame: started May 22, 2014; finished May 23, 2014
Yarn: leftover bits of Cascade 220 Superwash in Citron (light green) and Christmas Green (dark green)
Needles: US #6 (4 mm) and US #7 (4.5 mm)
Size: Newborn (72 sts)
Modifications: None
Thoughts: This is a quick stashbuster...but I still have yarn left. I may have to make a pair of little baby mittens to go with the hat. I'm not sure I have enough to make two pairs or I'd send them along with the Hoo Hats....but I'm pretty sure I have enough for one pair. If I can make more, I will...if I do it at all.
Anyway, there's not much to say about this hat other than it's cute and small and adorable.
Perhaps I'll be back next week with another FO....oh wait, probably not. I don't have anything close to being finished except a dishcloth and, let's face it, those are kind of boring :)
If Tami links, I'll link with her...
Its a great hat...are you having another boy? Or you aren't finding out, or don't want to say, or tell me to mind my own business.....
ReplyDeleteLet's put it this way: his little penis was pretty obvious on the ultrasound, even to my fully untrained eyes :)
DeleteLovely, and as you said a great way to use up some stash!
ReplyDeleteGreat combination of greens.
