I only worked on one project this past week: the Baby Yoda sweater. My DPNs arrived from Webs late this week, not sure which day but Husband told me yesterday. And they were the correct size. So, I was able to continue on where I had left off on...Thursday, maybe. So, I've finished the hood, the ears (which need to be attached), the body of the sweater up until I attach the sleeves, and I've almost finished with the first sleeve. With any luck, I'll finish this up soon enough.

But that was it for knitting, sadly.

This past week was a bit......challenging. I feel like Stormageddon is falling through cracks because I don't get to spend as much time working on schoolwork with him as I do with Little Man. Little Man is very easily distracted and has major issues with executive functioning. He is, after all, my child. I wind up spending most of the morning with Little Man, trying to get him through his schoolwork and Stormageddon just isn't interested. Even if I have him sitting next to me, he still doesn't want to work anyway. So, I'm kind of stuck at this point and I'm not sure what to do and since this is new for everyone, no one knows quite what to do.

So, here we are.

The neighbors across the street brought over flowers the other day.

They smell amazing. I can't even convey how they smell. They're just amazing.

We also bought a fire pit (a cheap one) so we could sit outside and have fire.

Stormageddon found a rollie pollie (pill bug, whatever you call them). It just climbed right on him without a care in the world. It even climbed over to me and then back to him. We put it back outside after he showed me.

I ordered a couple of masks from Erin Lane Bags and they arrived. I wore this one to Costco. It has Larry saying "well s#it" on it. That's about how I feel about everything in general right now.

Aside from that, Husband and the boys set up the tent in the backyard on Saturday and went "camping." I was supposed to do it but my body decided a migraine would be a better use of my time. Sadly, it's coming back again. I think it's allergy-related but I'm not positive.

We also had some visitors on our neighbor's roof yesterday.

I mean, we have ducks in the neighborhood (we're close to the bay, a PG&E substation, and a golf course) but they don't usually hang out on the neighbor's roof. I watched these two fly in, hang out, and then they flew off maybe fifteen minutes later.

So, that's what's been going on around here. I hope you've had a lovely week and weekend. Maybe I'll get this right next week but don't count on it. I used to be really good at it.....I don't know what happened. ::sigh::

  1. Sorry you get migraines. E gets them once a month usually. Such fun for the boys, the tent and exploring bugs.
