Frustration!

So, I've been working on a hat of my own design (that will eventually get posted or something somewhere once I actually finish it). I was probably 35 rows in and I decided to try to find out where, exactly, I had managed to drop a stitch. I knew I had dropped one somewhere but I hadn't been able to find it and I didn't notice until 6 rows later, at least. So, I kept going, thinking I messed up my own pattern.

Nope.

After 30+ rows, I stopped to actually look and see if/where I had dropped a stitch. And there it was. Fifteen rows back and unhooking itself as I went along. I didn't have enough give to be able to pick it up...so, I frogged it.

And now I have to start over and I'm FRUSTRATED! I had to share.

Oh, and I played knitting model today.

  1. Pics or it didn't happen :P

I picked up some old socks that were 3" in on sunday, and decided to frog and restart because they were stupidly wide. I'm always terrified to frog. Someday I'll have my own socks!

  2. I don't have pics! I frogged the hat before I even took pictures of progress. I'll start it over one of these days. Or maybe I'll adapt it to make a baby hat.

    Someday, I'll have socks, too.
