WIP Wednesday.......

It's that time again: Wednesday in southern Wisconsin. I suppose that means it's time for another installment of WIP Wednesday.

Ooooooooooooooooookay.

I've spent most of my time working on the Pine Forest Baby Blanket and Hermione's Everyday Socks.

I'm beyond the halfway point on the blanket. I was originally thinking that I'd have 17 repeats in green, 12 in pink, and another 17 in green. Now that I'm looking at it with 11 repeats, I'm thinking I'm going to do 17 repeats of each section....which means I'm still just past the halfway point. That's not too bad for a month and a half, right?

As for the socks, I'm still on the first one but I've got somewhere around 10 repeats done. The pattern calls for 18 repeats before you separate for the heel flap. I have a feeling I'm going to cut that short and do probably 12 or 14 repeats. I'm not sure I want my socks that long...but we'll check at 12 repeats and see where they sit on me. I might wind up doing all 18 repeats...who knows?

Other than that, there hasn't been much else going on in my world of knitting. Just plugging away...I did, however, manage to lose a skein of yarn. I suspect that someone moved it to an unknown location. I was going to wind it today so I could start one of the hats on my Self-Imposed Year of Projects list...but I couldn't find the yarn. I'm rather miffed about it, actually.

Oh well. It'll turn up.

Anyway, for more WIP Wednesday love, visit Tami's blog :)

  1. I can't wait to see your projects completed. And I really hope you find your new yarn soon. It sucks having it misplaced, but at least it's in your home. I'm sure it'll turn up soon enough.

  2. I pitty the fool who messes with my yarn. If any of mine went AWOL. It might be disastrous. :-D

  3. You are doing wonderfully well w/those two projects. Beyond half way is certainly excellente on a blanket and 10 repeats on a sock? Why that's like one of my monkey socks right there. Awesome progress.
