Alameda. Not a Self-Imposed Year of Projects.

We're here. We've made it.

Normally I'd be doing a Self-Imposed Year of Projects Update today (Update #28) but as we've literally just gotten to Alameda (San Francisco) yesterday and NONE of my yarn or projects are here, I think we're going to forgo the updates, at least until the moving semi arrives and I can locate my WIPs and such in amongst the boxes. We'll see.

Or, perhaps this is just an excuse to go to a new LYS......A Verb for Keeping Warm, perhaps? Not today, though, as the Yarn Harlot is supposed to be there today and I don't have tickets or enough balls to drive into Oakland by myself. So, maybe not today....we shall see :)

Anyway, Little Man just had breakfast (cheerios) and Husband had a shower....I'm thinking that I should hit the shower myself.

I hope everything is lovely for you. As for me, I'm still flipping my shit. And that's all I'm going to say about it.

  1. Yeah! But you are all back together! Things will only get better!

  2. Glad you arrived safely and hoping you settle in okay and that your yarn is not to far away but the treat of new yarn could be good also.

  3. Im so glad you got there safe and sound, and I think after all that you deserve a little yarn retail therapy! Wishing you all the best for settling in and getting everything sorted.

  4. When you set to Sonoma---you must must must find Knitterly, the BEST yarn shop in the world!!! (i've only been once---but I dream about it!!!)

  5. Wait so you're residing in Alameda then? Aloha! Take your time settling in; take a breather before stuff starts arriving.
