I honestly don't think I picked up my needles at all this week until yesterday. I spent a couple hours knitting while watching a movie. I only worked on the fingerless mitts but I did make decent progress. They're almost 4" long, which means I'm starting to ponder the next part of the directions, which is for the thumb increases.

But that's honestly about the only knitting I've done.

I feel like all I do is go to work, come home, feed the family, do some housework, go to sleep, wash, rinse, repeat for eternity. Something like that. I know it'll even out and get better but right now, I feel like I'm doing the bare minimum at this point.

Unfortunately, the boys have also been feeling the after effects of mom going back to work. And Husband. And Puppy.

It's an adjustment that we're all working on at this point.

Puppy has not been doing well. He has been limping around on a swollen leg for awhile. We thought it was due to him bashing into the side of our bed as he was unable to actually jump up onto our bed. We were planning to take him to the vet this week but then he was going too fast on the hardwood and wound up hurting himself further. So, we had him to the emergency vet today. Nothing is broken but we need to get the leg looked at and there's a possibility that it's cancer. Best case scenario is that it's a tumor and we can just have it removed. Second best is that it's cancer, it hasn't spread, and that we will amputate. Worst case is that it's cancer and it's spread and we'll have to put him down.

So, you know, it's not been a fun time around here.

He's currently lying on my foot before bed.

I'd like to say that there's more information about life around here, but really, there isn't much going on and I don't have the spoons for much more than this.

I'm going to call it, for now. I hope you've had a lovely week and weekend!
