If you've been watching any of the news reports right about now, you may have seen quite a bit (or, perhaps, nothing) about an Asiana Airlines Boeing 777 that crashed at San Francisco International.
We live just a couple miles down the road from SFO.
We are fine. We can hear a zillion sirens and we could smell the fuel for a little while. It's not good. I don't expect that we'll be going anywhere for awhile today, if at all.
In other news, Little Man spent about 45 minutes running through the sprinklers today, naked as a little jaybird.
What a shock to see this on the news yesterday. Many FB friends posted how they were stuck in traffic or waiting to hear about their flight.
ReplyDeleteIt was just kind of strange because we had no idea anything was going on, aside from the fuel smell (which didn't last that long) and the abundance of sirens on 101...I had a USA Today notification pop up on my phone that told us.
