Yesterday was my birthday and Little Man was the king of tantrums and when he wasn't throwing a tantrum about something, he was just an extra-grumpy crabass. ::sigh:: At least there was stash enhancement involved.
Baa! Shasta in London Blue |
But, today is Wednesday and that means it's WIP Wednesday so I should be showing you my latest WIP.
Windschief by Stephen West |
This is the beginning of my Windschief. I'm making the medium size and it'll probably wind up being for my nephew for Christmas 2014 (the more I get done early, the better). I'm using my US #6 and US #8 16" circulars (4 mm and 5 mm needles). The pattern calls for US #7 needles but I could not locate my 16" circulars in that size...so I went up to the US #8s. I think it'll be okay. I know I have a pair somewhere...just wish I knew where. ::sigh:: Also, because I expect someone will ask, the yarn is Cascade 220 Superwash Paints in Moss Agate. It's not nearly as bright as this photo is showing but it was relatively dark when I took the photo.
So, there you have it :) I'll link up with Tami as soon as I can...if I can...so far, she hasn't posted :(
I just had to LOL while reading about Little Man's tantrum. Oh boy and on his mama's birthday. Well thank goodness for yarn and you go on that big purchase. That's an awesome blue.
