Anyway, I have a repeat of sorts, but only with the pattern....

Needles: US #8 (5 mm) Signature DPNs
Size: Newborn
Modifications: None
Thoughts: Yes, I made this hat in less than a day. It was a very quick knit and turned out quite lovely. It's currently drying/blocking in the bathroom so the above photo is pre-wash/block. This hat works out really well as a stashbuster for worsted weight scraps. I used up the rest of the Patons from the sweater (here). Will I make it again? Sure. Any time soon? No idea. We'll see where my knitting takes me...
I'm planning to gift both this hat and the sweater made of the same yarn (the one mentioned above) to Husband's boss for their newest addition (which should be making a grand entrance sometime in May). We might also do a box of diapers or something but, we haven't decided yet.
Anyway, that's all I have for you this week :) Hope you enjoyed! I'll link up with Tami as soon as I can...
Nice hat. It will look great on a little noggin.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet set it will be for the new baby.
