Y3: Self-Imposed Year of Projects - Update #50

Hello and happy Sunday :)

First and foremost, we survived the nasty rainstorm that came barreling through the area from Wednesday night-Friday morning. Our backyard turned into a very shallow lake for a few hours but the water has mostly drained off....but the yard is an absolute mess! Oh, and the roof leak we had fixed on Monday-Tuesday? Yeah, that didn't take care of the problem. Luckily, our leak is quite small but it's still a leak and it needs to be addressed.

Other places were not so lucky. There were underpasses that were flooded out, parts of several of the main highways were flooded.....it was just a nasty mess around here.

But, it's over and done and we're fine :)

I'm positive that it won't be in Wisconsin for Christmas but that's okay; I hear Sherri and the kids are going to Florida (the kids don't know yet)...she won't need her hat down there. It'll be waiting for her when she gets back to Wisconsin, I hope.
