I mentioned above that it's been a rough week. And so it has. Stormageddon came down with the flu at the end of last week and we thought (hoped) that would be the end of it. The entire family was on Tamiflu and by last Tuesday, Stormageddon was fine to go to school. Wednesday afternoon, Puppy had an appointment for his bath and nail trimming and teeth brushing. I was not feeling 100% by that point but I had hoped that things would just pass on by without getting worse.

I was so very wrong.

Thursday I was down. Not only was I down, Little Man was also down. Not only were Little Man and I down, Husband was also down. I tried to work and my brain was so foggy I couldn't even see my screen correctly. I napped for several hours. Husband picked up Stormageddon from school because I was out cold. Little Man took a midday nap, which he's not done in about seven years. It was a rough day. Friday wasn't a whole lot better but I could at least work. I kept Little Man home from school again because he still wasn't 100%. He should be good to go tomorrow. Hopefully. He was out on his bike yesterday so I think that's a good sign.

As for me, I've been doing as little as possible because everything is taking extra energy because I've been sick. We did some house cleaning yesterday, which included the boys cleaning their rooms, laundry, vacuuming, cleaning the living room, and cleaning out the fireplace. I had to take frequent breaks but we got it all done.

I've got literally no photos from this week. I think I maybe took a selfie of me sick in bed but y'all don't need to see that. It's not cute, I promise.

Other than that, not much else has been happening. I'm trying to sort out everything and I feel like this free trial of 2020 needs to die in a fire. I'd like to cancel my subscription for 2020. Or a do-over or something. I don't even know.

Anyway, I hope you've had a lovely week and weekend. Maybe I won't be so boring next week!

  1. oh my. I hope you are all on the mend now. Cute idea to cancel your subscription to 2020, but I think you will have to persevere - no cancelling allowed! Take care and I am sure you will be back to your picture perfect blogs soon.
