This ain't the Parliament Funkadelic...

I'm in a knitting funk. I'm working on the Icarus Shawl and the Andean Treasure Shawl but I am just in a funk. I have a hat pattern worked out on paper but I have yet to make it properly and I'm tired of the damn pattern now so I may never make it. Maybe I should have a test knitter for it instead of me. I'm weird. I started a sock tonight and I made it through three rows and wound up frogging it after the fourth row (I messed up somewhere).

I keep looking at my Itty Bitty books for ideas...but nothing is jumping out at me right now.

Any ideas?
