Firstly, I did a little bit of spinning this week on Viktor. I have almost a full bobbin of the merino top and enough to probably fill the second, which is perfect. 

I also worked a bit on the new cowl (#14 on the list). I'm still in ribbing hell but that's fine. 

Other than that, I didn't do much of anything this past week. But more on that later.

1. Knit 2 granny squares a month (average) until I'm out of yarn (for the Granny Square Blanket in my WIP list above - I started with four cakes, I've finished two and started the third...I bought a fifth, though, for more choices): It's April...and I'm caught up for the month, having finished both the 7th and 8th squares and starting the 9th. I've got that going, and that's grand.

2. Knit 1 dishcloth a month (average): So I'm super behind. I have not knit one yet....not a single one. I should probably get going on this as I recently tossed a bunch of old crunchy ones...I did finally pull out some yarn for this the other day. Progress?

3. Submit and/or publish 4 designs this year.

So it's Sunday in California. Most of this week has been warmer than usual, to the point that we put the room air conditioners in place and used them a couple days last week. 

We had a couple of events this week. On Thursday, the Cub Scouts went to one of the local high schools for their Robotics Team Demonstration. They had a lot of fun. There was some coding (Minecraft), they worked with one of the actual robots, built Lego boats to see how much they could hold, and played "programmer" where they gave commands to their "robot" (one of the members of the robotics team). 

Yesterday, the Cub Scouts went up to one of the local archery courses and learned how to shoot bows & arrows. Little Man was the second-youngest there but he was able to hold his own pretty well. 

He seemed to really like it, which was kind of surprising. I also noticed that he's like me. His inclination to be a left-handed shooter was exactly something I would have done as a child (and still do on occasion). He kept wanting to hold the bow in his right hand and pull with his left. 

Other than that, it was a fairly normal week around here. The boys had their regularly scheduled school times and therapy, with the exception of Little Man's swimming lesson on Thursday (Cub Scouts at the high school). And that was about it.
