14. Hufflepuff Hat: started 31 July 2019

I didn't get a lot of knitting time this week but what time I did have, I used to work on the Hufflepuff Hat. I'm worried that my floats may be a bit tight...I'm hoping I can abuse it during the washing/blocking process (it's an acrylic yarn) and if it's too small for Little Man, I can let Stormageddon wear it. I'm fine with that.

That's honestly all I worked on this week....however, Husband dropped another project at my feet (in addition to the lederhosen socken he wants me to make). He wants me to make another goat.

Do you remember the goats? I think in the end, I wound up making six of them (five white/brown and one yellow/black). Wellllll.....he wants me to make another one in yellow/black but bigger. So I bought some chunky yarn and I'm going to hold it double and pray that that modification alone will be enough to make it bigger. It should be but, you know, it might not be.....yeah. We'll see. And I have less than six weeks to complete that plus the lederhosen socken. ::sigh::

I was writing this post over the weekend when I hit a snag...mostly in that I couldn't add photos. It appears that I'm having the same issues yet today. So, I guess this is going to be a photoless post. Sorry.

Last week Monday was Stormageddon's birthday. We didn't do anything fancy as it was a holiday in the US. We stayed home, had some cake, had some food, opened presents, and called it good. He seemed satisfied with the whole ordeal of turning five years old.

The rest of the week consisted of a bit of this and a bit of that. Mostly me doing work, Little Man doing homework, swimming lessons, and the usual shenanigans. Oh, and we sold our garage freezer....which means everything from our garage is now in coolers with ice in our house until the new one comes on Thursday. ::sigh::

Sooooooo......yeah. It was one of those weeks. Hopefully I'll be able to have photos next week. We shall see. I hope you've had a good week and weekend and beginning of the week :)
