My days are a bit mixed up right now. I know it's Monday but in my head, it's Sunday, because I go to work tomorrow and I go to work on Mondays, even though tomorrow is definitely Tuesday.

Honestly, I don't know that I've picked up any knitting this week. I think I looked at some of it when we went on an adventure on Friday but I don't know that I've actually worked on anything...I'd venture a guess that no, I haven't done any knitting. I brought knitting with me...but didn't actually do any.

Oh well.

This week we have had company from California. I mentioned last week that we were picking up Little Man's bestie and his older sister so they've been with us all week. I was at work most of the week so I'm not entirely sure what they did while I was gone but I took Friday and today off so I've had a few days with them.

On Friday, we went to the Kalahari, which is an indoor waterpark. We met up with some other friends of ours...and that's a whole other story but it also started in California. So, the mom, who is one of my friends, grew up here in Wisconsin and her family is still here. Her son is one of Little Man's besties. About six months after we moved back to Wisconsin, they moved to Virginia (which is where her husband's family is from)....but being from Wisconsin, they come back to see her family. They happened to be in town the same time so they came to the Kalahari with us (the boys are all friends).

After a day in the water, we ate at UNO's in Lake Delton (which is basically Wisconsin Dells). The boys had fun. The adults had fun. There was one that was semi-grumpy but she was able to find a quietish spot and chill for a mo.

We also made s'mores one night, which is also a good time. We tend to let our cardboard boxes pile up and burn them with wood and with extra people here, we decided to go out and make s'mores while we burned boxes.

Let's see.....we also went to the zoo today, just the boys. It was also an excuse to play Pokemon Go but we still had fun.

And no, Stormageddon is not sad about the cage. He put that face on for show. It was just too cute not to take a photo when he did it.

Intermixed with all this were a couple trips to Culver's, because when in Wisconsin, you go to Culver's.

Other than that, it's been a fairly quiet week around here. The kids head back to California on Wednesday and then we need to start getting ready for back to school. We have the shopping lists and the class information and.....I don't know that we're ready yet but here we are. Stormageddon starts September 1st and Little Man starts September 5th. And Labor Day weekend is in there, too. Lots of things coming up.

Anyway, I hope you've all had a lovely week and weekend!
